Civil War

“Yeah, but, what kind of American are you?” – That blonde asshole from the movie.

So… I hated this movie, I hated its pace, I hated its tone, I hated how current it feels, I hate that it’s too on the nose tbqh… I hate the stupid use of Glimmerglass filter, and how some times I kept thinking about how beautiful it looks.

I hate that I still have a crush on Kirsten Dunst, I hated Jesse Plemons so he’s been reduced to that blonde asshole, I hate how Stephen Mckinley is in this and he’s a great actor, and my god did I hate Nick Offerman’s character, and he’s barely on it.

I hate that the sniper scene is funny, and how some deaths are only implied, but not less gut wrenching. I hate the stoooooopid payout in the end with Lee.

Overall, I hated this movie, it made me feel things, angry things, dread, and how this movie is described as Dystopian where the entire world feels like two weeks away from it, fuck it, I don’t even live in the united states but suffer from every stupid action they’ve taken in the last couple of years and that too makes me angry.

Other than all that, A24 is always a win.
